CPLX-CVP6
Dedicated Device Controller
The CPLX-CVP6 controller is designed to integrate with many Condoplex sub-systems (i.e. ACCESS CONTROL, SUITE SECURITY, VOICE COMMUNICATIONS, PANIC ALARM, ELEVATOR CONTROL, CCTV CONTROL AND MEDIC ALERT). It is powered by a LINUX /OS and as such is a multi-user / multi-tasking System. The controller comes standard with 4 optically isolated ports. Each port (a,b,c,d) is designed to interrogate the operational state of each security device 50-60 tines a second, depending on the device type. An expansion port allows another 4 ports to be added for a total 8 ports. This will permit further network isolation resulting in a large portion of the system remaining in operation when a particular network segment fails. Performance and reliability are assured as each PORT on the CPLX-CVP6 operates independent of each other.
All DATA relating to the “field” devices connected with the controller is downloaded to its internal memory, thus enabling each controller to continue to operate when communications to the Server is lost. Once in a “stand alone” mode, the controller records all network operations under its control, and makes complex, unassisted decisions until the network is re-established.

Benefits
REMOTE SERVICE CAPABILITY
Controllers can be serviced and/or upgraded remotely. This alleviates disruption in service and the need for costly site visits by the dealer.
LOCAL INTELLIGENT CONTROLLER DATABASE
Allows for “real-time” decisions and processing without assistance from the Server.
DEVICE INTERROGATION
Interrogates each device and provides immediate notification to guards/property management should a device malfunction.
DUAL REDUNDANCY / RS485 MESSAGE INJECTION
Two controllers may set as a failover to one another via port or entire controller failure. Rs485 messages are injected into the Ports to allow one controller’s port to loop into other, thus allowing two controllers to poll a single network segment.
